  10.         by putting the trackdisk.device tasks in a removed state.

  17. FileSearch    This program will search an AmigaDOS volume for a specified
  18.         file, using a filename pattern.  Useful for hard drive
  19.         owners wanting to find a file/program quickly.  AmigaDOS
  20.         wildcards aren't supported, `*' wildcards are.  Has an
  21.         Intuition interface.  Version 1.5, binary only, WB2.0 only.

  25.         less than DPaint but more than many other such programs.

  42. BootPic        BootPic allows you to install nearly any IFF picture that
  43.         you like in place of the WorkBench hand that appears after
  44.         a reset.  Version 1.1, an update to version 1.0 on disk
  45.         484.  Now includes an Intuition interface.  Binary only.

  48. DataPlot    A program that plots data and algebraic functions in 2D.
  49.         The user simply clicks on an option screen to select
  50.         various options, such as type of marker, log or linear
  51.         axis, auto vs manual scaling, grid lines.  The macro
  52.         language makes similar, repetitive plots easy to do.  Data
  53.         points can be transformed by an algebraic function prior
  54.         to plotting.  A macro can be automatically executed upon
  55.         start-up.  Plots in any resolution from 320x200 to 640x400.
  56.         Plots can be saved as macro commands and IFF ILBM files.
  57.         Prints directly to Epson compatible printers, or to any
  58.         Preferences supported grapics printer via the PLT: device.

  63. SCSIMounter    An interactive, fully automated partition mounter especially
  64.         suited for removable media SCSI drives.  SCSIMounter auto-
  65.         matically scans the Rigid Disk Block of the drives and
  66.         presents the user with a partition selector which allows the
  67.         individual selection of the partitions to mount.  Requires
  68.         Kickstart 2.0.  Binary only.

  71. SCSIPrefs    A Preferences editor for the battery backed up memory in the
  72.         Amiga 3000.  This small program allows you to change the
  73.         bits that control some parameters of the embedded SCSI host

  86. BootGen        This program creates a bootmenu.  You simply enter the name
  87.         of ten programs and the program will do the rest.  When you
  88.         boot the disk a menu will appear where you can choose one
  89.         of ten program names, which automatically will be loaded.

  93. Conquest    Lore of Conquest is a war game similar in concept to the
  94.         board game Risk.  You are the lord of an entire world,
  95.         destined to rule the galaxy.  Some worlds are virgin fruits,
  96.         ready for you to colonize.  Some worlds have natives who do
  97.         not wish to accept your rule, these you must conquer for
  98.         they will yield more valuable resources.  As you claim the
  99.         galaxy you will find, you are not the only one extending
  100.         your dominion.  This is a two-player game, so be prepared
  101.         to defend yourself and take what is yours!  Version 1.6, an
  102.         update to version 1.5 on disk 523.  Includes enhanced galaxy
  103.         map, instant replay option, timed turns, symmetrical universe,

  167.         ASCII or Word Perfect files.  This is a major update to

  178. BizCalc        A do-it-all user friendly loan calculator that calculates
  179.         weekly and biweekly loans.  Can generate amortization

  182.         Has six decimal precision option and more.  This is
  183.         version 1.2, an update to version 1.1 on disk 493.

  187. Flat        A filing system handler which implements block-mapped filing
  188.         devices such as available under Un*x.  Read and write calls
  189.         are mapped to low-level system IO operations which allow to
  190.         treat devices such as df0:, dh0:, rad:, etc. as big data
  191.         files.  These `virtual' files can be copied, read and
  192.         written just like any standard AmigaDOS file.  It is even
  193.         possible to copy a whole disk with the CLI `Copy' command or
  194.         to archive disks with LhArc and the like.  Written as a
  195.         supplement for the Amiga `tar' program.  Version 1.3,

  199. Format        A replacement for the Workbench 2.x `Format' command with
  200.         many additional features and a basic gadtools interface.

  204.         (floppy disks or hard disk partitions) which works both

  209. FracBlank       A commodities screen blanker written for AmigaOS release
  210.         2.x.  When running will blank the screen and start to draw
  211.         real plane fractals such as described in the September 1986
  212.         issue of Scientific American.  The resulting images may
  213.         remind you of spiders' webs, lace or even the Chladnian
  214.         patterns formed by grains of sand strewn across a vibrating
  215.         surface.  Version 1.4, includes source in `C' and assembly
  216.         language.  AmigaOS 2.x required.

  219. Icon         A tool which patches Workbench 2.x online to supply default
  220.         icons for about 45 different file types ranging from LhArc
  221.         archives to object code files.  Enhances the `Show All
  222.         Files' option of Workbench which by default only knows two
  223.         types of file icons: Tool and Project.  If enabled scans
  224.         all files in a directory which do not have an icon file
  225.         supplied and tries to determine their file types.  When
  226.         done, tricks Workbench into believing that there are proper
  227.         icons for these files in the directory.  Includes source in
  228.         `C' and assembly language.  AmigaOS 2.x required.

  231. KeyMacro    A keyboard macro program, configurable via a text file, that
  232.         also supports hotkey program execution.  You can map up to
  233.         eight functions to each key, including keys such as cursor
  234.         keys, the return key, etc.  Version 1.12 with a number bug
  235.         fixes and enhancements, an update to version 1.8 on disk
  236.         436.  Includes source in `C' and assembly language.

  239. SetBatt        A tool to set the configuration information saved in the
  240.         nonvolatile ram of the A3000 clock chip.  Allows you to
  241.         adjust the SCSI select timeout and other system settings.

  246. termLite    A tiny, almost brain dead telecommunications program written

  258.         calotte model.  This means that atoms are drawn as bowls.
  259.         Using this model, even extremely dangerous molecules like
  260.         dioxine look quite nice.  Chemesthetics has an Intuition
  261.         user interface, can save pictures as IFF files, and has
  262.         many example files.  This is version 2.06, an update to
  263.         version 2.00 on disk 427.  Includes source in C.

  267.         revision numbers after each successful compile process.

  278. WFile        Small but useful tool to interchange ASCII files between
  279.         different operating systems.  Converts foreign symbols and
  280.         adapts linefeed codes.  Can also be used to expand tabs to

  282.         interchange between the Amiga, MS-DOS and UNIX.  Profiles
  283.         can be used for common adaptions.  Version 1.11, includes

  304. CHIP8        CHIP8 is a programming language popularised by the RCA
  305.         COSMAC VIP, DREAM 6800, and ETI-660 hobby computers.  It is

  308.         1.1, includes assembly source and some demo games.

  311. Cross           A program that creates crossword puzzles.  Has a message
  312.                 data file to allow easy translation into almost any human
  313.                 language, with English and German currently supported.
  314.                 This is version 4.1, an update to version 3.3 on disk 464.
  315.                 Major new features are several new printer drivers
  316.                 including "generic" and "LaTeX", and many minor improvements.

  320. FO        Fast Optimizer is a new optimizer for AmigaDOS disks.  It can
  321.         optimize one disk in less than 2 min, 30 sec.  FO supports
  322.         WorkBench or CLI modes and allows you to use unformatted disks
  323.         as the destination.  At least 1 Mb memory required.  This is
  324.         version v1.0.  Includes some source in C.

  327. PaulCopy    A single drive disk copier for Amigas with 1 Meg of RAM.
  328.         Copies the source disk completely into memory in one go.

  348.         line, loops, If-Else-Endif constructs etc.  This is version

  356. BCBMusic    This is the second set of original music in the BCBmusic
  357.         series.  This set includes the songs "Still Waiting",
  358.         "Transpose", and "Trilogy".  Like the first set (on disk
  359.         428), no player program is required since it is actually
  360.         compiled in with the song.  These new songs include a new
  361.         equalizer-style graphic display which can be toggled on
  362.         and off.  WB2.0 compatible, binary only.

  365. MatLabPatch    Patches for both Matlab and Diglib on disk 499.  The
  366.         version of Diglib compiled for 68000 machines has some
  367.         incorrectly compiled modules (compiled for 68020) and
  368.         therefore causes crashes on 68000 machines.  The Plot.sub
  369.         module compiled for 68000 machines in the Matlab archive
  370.         was linked using the incorrect Diglib and does not run on
  371.         68000 machines.  This update provides correctly compiled
  372.         replacements for both those files.

  375. NGTC        Release Two, Revision 1, of a trivia game based on "Star
  376.                 Trek: The Next Generation" TV series.  This is a bug fix

  427.         directories from a CLI environment.  Also provides a
  428.         method to execute either Workbench or CLI programs by
  429.         double-clicking them or by selecting them from a ParM
  430.         like Menu with lots of arguments.  A Browser 1.6 replace-
  431.         ment, does everything Browser 1.6 does and a lot more.

  435. CLIExe        An XIcon style program which uses parm.library. It allows
  436.         you to execute a script starting from WB and is completely

  442. ParM        Parameterable Menu.  ParM allows you to build menus to run
  443.         whatever program you have on a disk.  ParM can run programs
  444.         either in WorkBench or CLI mode.  This is an alternative to
  445.         MyMenu which can run only when workbench is loaded.  ParM
  446.         can have it's own little window, can attach menus to the CLI
  447.         window you are running it from, or to the WB menus, just like
  448.         MyMenu.  This is version 3.00, an update to version 2.5r on
  449.         disk 419.  Includes source in C.
